FRIED MILK PUDDING SQUARES
INGREDIENTS (4 people):
Fried milk pudding squares with healthy ingredients like extra virgin olive oil whose nutritional properties withstand high temperatures.
Cook the milk with the cinnamon stick. Beat the egg yolks together with the sugar and add the flour a little bit at a time. Add slowly the milk and then the butter. Put the mixture into a saucepan on a low heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Find a wide and flat rectangular dish, about 3 centimetres deep. Run it under cold water without drying it before adding the mixture from the pan.
When the dough is cold, cut it into squares, coat them in beaten egg and flour and fry in hot extra virgin olive oil. Lastly, sprinkle with icing sugar and cinnamon powder.
