Criolla sauce Salsa criolla

CRIOLLA sauce 

This sauce is made from onion, pepper, tomato and olive oil among other ingredients and is a typical suace from Argentina. It's ideal to accompany roasted, grilled or barbequed meat.


  • 2 medium onions

  • 3 tomatoes

  • 1 green pepper

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 2 soup spoons of parsley

  • Cup of virgin olive oil

  • 3 soup spoons of red wine vinegar

  • Salt and pepper



Peel and finely chop the onion, tomato and the garlic. Wash and chop finely the pepper and the parsley too. Beat the virgin olive oil and vinegar together in a bowl with salt and freshly ground pepper. Lastly, mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly.
