Artichokes with prawns and ham from Teruel Alcachofas con gambas y jamón de Teruel


Ingredients for 4 people:

 - 2 kg. of artichokes.

 - 100 g. of ham from Teruel.

 - 300 g. of prawns.

 - 400 ml. of extra virgin olive oil

 - 1 lemon.

 - Fish stock.

 - Flour, garlic and parsley

Delicious artichokes with prawns and ham from Teruel.



Firstly, wash the artichokes and cut them into 4 pieces, and spread them with lemon so that they dont go black.

Then, put them in a frying pan with the olive oil on a low heat so that they don't cook too much. when you see that they are lightly done, take them out of the pan and put them on a plate.

Next, chop the ham into strips and peel the prawns. Set them to one side on a plate.

Then, in a saucepan, make a sauce with the fish stock, the flour, the garlic and the parsley. Add the prawns and the strips of ham and let them cook on a low heat until they are tender. Serve hot.
