DRIED TOMATOES WITH OLIVE OIL

  

 Ingredients: 

Peeled whole tomatoes.

Garlic and parsley

Oregano

Thyme

Olive oil from Lower Aragón

 

Preparation:

 
Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half lengthways.

Place them in a glass bowl with the pulp facing downwards, leave them to one side for approximately 45 minutes.

Then place them in a dryer with the pulp facing upwards.  

Season with oregano and thyme.

Cook them in an oven at a minimum temperature for approximately 2 hours depending on the oven. 

Once cooked, take them out of the oven and let them cool in the same bowl.

After they are taken out, add the finely chopped garlic and sprinkle with olive oil.

Place them in the freezer where they are kept for a certain time.

You can add the sauces to improve the flavour.
 

Also they can be served to accompany meats and other foods, according to your taste.
