Squid with serrano ham Chipirones a la parrilla

GRILLED SQUID WITH SERRANO HAM FROM TERUEL

  

 Ingredients for 4 people:

 - 16 small squids.

 - 1 onion.

 - 1 green pepper.

 - 50 g. of serrano ham from Teruel.

 - Salt.

 - Pepper.

 - 14 spoonfuls of oil.

 - Warm vinegrette: 1 tomato.

 - 3 spoonfuls of wine vinegar.

 - Chives.

 

 

Preparation:


Wash the squids well, leave the tentacles and the fins in tact.

Wash well and turn the head of the squid.

Cut the onion into thin rings, wash the pepper, dry it and cut it into strips.

Soften the vegetables in a frying pan with a little olive oil.

Chop the fins and the tentacles from the squid and cook them together with the onion and pepper.

Add the serrano ham (diced).

Fill the squids with the above mix.

Seal the squids and season them.

Cook them under/on a hot grill.

Wash, dry and dice the tomato.

Warm the olive oil and then off the heat and the diced tomato, the vinegar, salt, pepper and chopped chives.

Serve with the stuffed squids.
