cold
rice with ham from teruel
Ingredients
for 4 people:
- 500 g. white rice
- 500 g. ham from Teruel (in small pieces)
- 350 g. semi-cured artisan cheese -
A dash of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 can of cream
- 1/2 can of red pepper
- 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt to taste

Rice with
Teruel ham.
Preparation:
Put a dash of extra virgin olive oil in a
large pan and fry the garlic.When the
garlic starts to golden, add the rice, which we fry for 1 minute.
Next, add double the amount of water to rice and
leave it to cook.
When it's cooked, drain it in a sieve and hold the
sieve under cold running water to cool the rice down and then put it in
a large bowl.
Separately, chop the ham from Teruel, the
red pepper and the cheese into small pieces.
Add them to the rice and mix
well. Then add the cream and the mayonnaise and mix again, throughly.
Leave the bowl in the fridge for 20-30
minutes. Serve chilled.
