Pea purée with cheese and ham from Lower Aragón Puré de guisantes, jamón de Teruel y queso de Bajo Aragón

PEA PURÉE WITH TERUEL HAM AND CHEESE FROM LOWER ARAGÓN

  

 Ingredients for 4 people:

 - 1 kg. of potatoes. 

 - 1/2 kg. of carrots. 

 - 1 can of peas. 

 - 250 g. of serrano ham fromTeruel. 

 - White cheese from Lower Aragón.

 

Preparation:


Cook the potatoes and the carrots in boiling water.

Once they're soft, mash them well or blend them until you have a purée.

Cut the Teruel ham into strips.

Mix the purée with a little butter or, if you want, a little mayonnaise too or instead.

Place in a oven dish all of the ingredients together the purée, ham and peas. 

Sprinkle white cheese from Lower Aragón on top of everything and put in the oven at a medium heat for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts.
