Ham and cheese purée Puré de jamón de Teruel y queso de Bajo Aragón

HAM AND CHEESE PURÉE

  

 Ingredients for 4 people:

 - 1 kg. of potatoes. 

 - 1/4 kg. of stuffed olives. 

 - 1/2 kg. of carrots. 

 - 1/4 kg. of serrano ham from Teruel. 

 - 1/4 kg. cheese from Lower Aragón in slices.

 - Black or white pepper. 

 - Salt to taste.

 

Preparation:


Cook the potatoes and the carrots until they are soft.

Mash them and make them into a purée.

Once you have a purée with the carrots and the potatoes, mix in a bit of butter or mayonnaise and add the pepper to taste.

Cut the serrano ham from teruel into small strips or dice it.

Finally add the ham and the olives to the purée.

On top, place the slices of cheese and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200ºC or until the cheese melts.
