ORANGE BLOSSOM FRITTERS
INGREDIENTS (4 people):
Fritter fried in extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with sugar.
Mix together the orange blossom water, egg, salt, sugar, brandy and the butter in a mixing bowl. Then add little by little the flour, work until you have a stiff dough. Cover the bowl and leave the dough to rest for 2 hours.
Next, roll the dough thin on a floured surface with a rolling pin. Cut the dough with different shaped pastry cutters and fry in plenty of extra virgin olive oil, making sure that they golden. Lastly, drain well and drizzle with warm honey or sugar.
